Spiritual care is essential to our mission at Grace Lutheran Communities. With deep respect for each individual’s spiritual, religious, and personal beliefs, our Spiritual Care team walks alongside residents, families, and staff with compassion, presence, and care. Support is always shaped by individual needs and may include one-to-one spiritual companionship or counseling, group conversations or gatherings, life review, emotional and social support, meaningful rituals or blessings, connection or reconnection with faith or belief communities, and opportunities for prayer or personal reflection.
Weekly chapel services are offered regularly across several of our communities, creating welcoming spaces for shared reflection, music, message, prayer, and, when appropriate, communion or other sacred practices. When in-person participation is not possible, alternative options such as broadcast access may also be available.
Designated chapel or reflection spaces are open throughout the week and are available to residents, families, and staff. These spaces are intended to offer quiet, comfort, and a sense of peace—for reflection, meditation, rest, community, or prayer. Confidential prayer or reflection request boxes are available, and all requests are received with care, respect, and thoughtful attention by our Spiritual Care team.
